| hmmm.... this new xanga settings are a bit weird... but meh...
just got back to aus today and not exactly a happy camper. despite all the fragile tags on my suit case, the guy who takes luggage off the trolley and puts it in the x-ray machine just dumped it on to the belt, and when finished scanning dumped it none too carefully back on the trolley. >_< end result, some parts in my computer got shaken loose, namely the heatsink/fan which apparently damaged the vid card as it was rolling around since the mobo no longer seems to detect the vid card. on the other hand, it's not so much of a deal since it's an old pci vid card.
haven't had a single caffeine drink for 2 months or so. must be a new caffeine free day record since i started drinking v-drinks.

down with the flu. i have a tendency to get sick on the first couple days i get back to taiwan.
Hong Kong
came back from hk yesterday. pretty much exhausted from the week's long stay in hk. one would think that my tired expression would be me partying too much or staying up into the whee hours doing stuff, but i would be lying if that is true. unfortunately, i got less sleep than even during my uni days because of the snoring symphony performed by my parents (we all stayed in the same room). i'm a fairly light sleeper, but sooner or later into the night, one of them would start snorting and when one stops snoring, the other one starts. >_<
always a bit embaressed when i'm back in hk. cuz they post a lot of these nightclub ads that contain scantily clad women. all the exposed skin, even though it's 2d, makes me uncomfortable... :-S there also seems to be a lot more pr0n shops in hk now.
got a new pair of badminton shoes, yonex ones suprisingly. i didn't get ANY new rackets as people predicted. kinda pissed me off that someone told me to find a racket that hasn't even been in production for over a year.
saw the hk drama 我的野蠻奶奶 (War of In-Laws) a while back, thought it was pretty funny. while i was in hk, i found out that 野蠻奶奶大戰戈師奶 (War of In-Laws II) is currently being aired. even though the two having nothing in common in terms of continuity (one is set in 'medieval' china, while the sequel is set in modern day china).
Taiwan
boring as ever, but then, this could be the last year i will be spending time in taiwan cuz parents are planning on moving. where? don't know.
the streets of taiwan seem so quiet now as if nobody wants to go out to do anything.
dad's trying to teach me about how to invest in stocks.... now if only i can stay awake (still groggy from the lack of sleep in hk).
WoW
started a rogue w/ jewelcrafting (seems like it's gonna be a pain in the butt to level because of the gems needed, but hey, that's what ninjas are good at right?). going to be assassin spec'd... mostly because i think rogues are asses anyway 
drood and mage are levelling fairly slowly.
fairly determined to find/buy a healing set for my pally. undecided as to whether to go for +int or +healing gear.
Anime and TV shows
not much stuff from the new season piques my interest, but will follow the usual, which consists of: naruto, bleach, mythbusters, stargate atlantis, 野蠻奶奶大戰戈師奶, and 惡作劇2吻 (They Kiss Again), which is the sequel to 恶作剧之吻 (It Started With a Kiss). might watch Minami-Ke Okawari and Gunslinger Girls 2.
Future plans
i think i'm heading back to aus on feb 10th or something. not sure.
girls? for now, hoping that a nice girl will fall out of the sky like one of those romantic comedies. and then we live happily ever after.

| probabaly go with this for mage and this for druid.
starting to think about getting a pally, even though i hate the little sobs and don't really know how to play them, but bubble hearthing sounds fun. so maybe something like this. although if i do decide to lvl up a pally, the drood will probably take a back seat in levelling.
statistics from the news indicate that nearly half of taiwan has been affected by the flu. i'm a statistic... >_<

| wtf is this WoW-2.0.0.6080-expansion-speech-enUS file? would've made life easier if they posted it on ausgamers for me to download using http rather than using the bliz downloader.
currently thinking speccing my drood like this, which i think is geared towards pvp.
